The winner of this bid will get a custom pair of laminated spoon-blade oars crafted by outdoor writer Pat Durkin in his backyard workshop. Pat will build the oars to your specifications from laminants of ash, oak, American elm, and walnut and/or black cherry that he will cut and plane from his private stash of lumber. The winner will specify the overall length and the width/length of the blades, and can choose between oar-pins or sewn-on leathers for the oarlocks.
